Copyright of all published Gerald Heard books and certain other published Gerald Heard materials that are not in the public domain, and copyright of all unpublished Gerald Heard materials held in archival collections worldwide is owned by The Barrie Family Trust, the legal custodian of the Estate of Gerald Heard and literary executor of Gerald Heard. For usage of all aforementioned Gerald Heard materials, permission must be obtained from The Barrie Family Trust via Harold Ober Associates in New York.

In addition, many archival collections that own Heardian materials require that permission must be obtained from them to access these materials. For usage of published Gerald Heard articles and other published Gerald Heard materials for which the copyright is not owned by The Barrie Family Trust, permission must be obtained by the respective copyright owner.
